EVENT: Korean Design comes to Paris

From September 4 to 8, 2025, Korean design took center stage in Paris during “Maison&Objet”, the must-attend international event for lifestyle, decor, and living trends.

In recent years, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic, K-pop and K-dramas have gained global popularity through the internet. But Korean culture doesn’t stop there, design is also making waves, with numerous brands participating in international exhibitions and events.

This early September, 25 brands gathered at the “Pavilion Design Korea 2025”, showcasing Korean style across tableware, stationery, luggage, lighting, and accessories, a glimpse into the vision of Korea’s new generation of designers.

This event is more than just a spotlight on design. The Pavilion Design Korea goes beyond a simple exhibition by helping brands expand into global markets and connect with buyers through international logistics support.

Last year, over 600 buyers were attracted to Korean design, generating up to $20 million in potential business, proving that Korean culture and art is no longer just an exotic souvenir, it has become a new way of living, decorating, and expressing oneself.

For this edition, 25 exhibitors including Cloisoo, Goober, Heradi, RawRow, and Mosery came together under the theme Ham (함), inspired by the traditional Korean gift box presented at weddings. A symbol of sharing and transmission, it serves here as a metaphor for Korean design offered to the world: generous, innovative, and meaningful. See the full list of exhibitors HERE.

This event is organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP), the national organization promoting innovation in Korean design since 1970, with support from the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), whose main mission is to enhance the global competitiveness of Korean companies.
