JUNG JOON YOUNG, convicted of sexual crimes, was mentioned in an unexpected setting.
Recently, a video titled “알고 보니 같은 X랑 사겼다고? 퍼가요~♡ (You knew they dated the same person? Sharing~♡)” was uploaded to the YouTube channel Pajama Party.
In the video, Han Areum Song, Yoon Ara, and Choi Eun‑hee—each a former participant of Ulzzang Generation, engage in conversation together.
When asked if there was anyone they admired while appearing on the show, the three responded that “in our day, those people were on par with celebrities,” adding that “some of them made it big, while others hit rock bottom.”
Han Areum Song then grabbed attention by saying, “Is this a secret?” before revealing, “Yoon Ara dated that guy.” Choi Eun‑hee followed with, “I dated him, too, for a brief moment. I hesitated to say it, and this is the first time I’m saying it.”
Surprised by the sudden revelation, Yoon Ara explained, “I never expected it to become so public. At our first meeting, he leaned on a utility pole and asked, ‘Did you come?’, it was both irritating and kind of charming.”
Netizens quickly speculated that the person being referred to as the “one who hit rock bottom” was JUNG JOON YOUNG, largely due to lingering online photos of Yoon Ara and him during their relationship.
As a reminder, JUNG JOON YOUNG, who once starred in Ulzzang Generation, was convicted in 2020 of gang rape, illegal filming, and distribution of intimate videos, and received a five-year prison sentence. He completed his sentence and was released in March from Mokpo Prison.
