CHEN, member of the group EXO and solo artist, has unveiled the first concept of his new album, heightening anticipation for his comeback.
His agency INB100 released, on September 11 and 12 through its official social media channels, several images of the first concept version, titled “ON”, for CHEN’s 5th mini-album, “ARCADIA.”
The revealed images capture attention with CHEN’s photogenic presence, laid out in a magazine-style format. Shots using lighting effects and a live band session hint at the artistic depth and genre diversity CHEN will showcase in this album.
In other cuts inspired by the album’s title, “ARCADIA,” CHEN presents a new side of himself, breaking away from the ordinary. By using subtly diffused light textures, the images create a dreamlike atmosphere and depict a symbolic scene, as if the artist had reached the long-desired utopia.
Scheduled for release on September 29, the 5th mini-album “ARCADIA” reflects CHEN’s journey of steadily building his own musical identity as a solo artist. Known for his uniquely antique emotional tone and powerful, expressive vocals, he has captured listeners both in Korea and abroad through a variety of albums. This new project is therefore drawing great anticipation.
In addition, on October 11 and 12, CHEN will hold a concert titled “Arcadia” at the KEPCO Art Center in Seoul, further cementing an active schedule that is drawing strong attention to his second-half activities this year.
CHEN’s 5th mini-album, “ARCADIA,” will be available on September 29 at 6 p.m. (KST) on major online music platforms.
