ENHYPEN‘s webtoon “Dark moon: the blood altar” will be available as an anime in early 2026.

Announced as being in production in 2024, it was during Aniplex Online Fest 2025 that ENGENE (fandom name) discovered the release date of the animated adaptation of the webtoon “Dark moon: the blood altar” as well as the cast.
“Dark moon: the blood altar” is a fantasy webtoon blending romance, action, and mystery, plunging the reader into a world where vampires and werewolves coexist in the shadows of humans. Created by HYBE in collaboration with ENHYPEN, this work follows the arrival of Sooha, a young girl endowed with superhuman strength, at Decelis Academy—a prestigious high school known for not admitting vampires. Very quickly, she finds herself mixed up with a group of seven boys (Heli, Solon, Jakah, Jaan, Shion, Jino, Noa) as charismatic as they are enigmatic, hiding a truth much darker than what she would have imagined. Exceeding 190,000,000 readings on the WEBTOON platform, “Dark moon: the blood altar” captivated fans of the group and webtoon alike with its dark atmosphere and endearing characters.
Animated by Japanese studio TROYCA, “Dark moon: the blood altar” will be released in January 2026 in Japan and will be available on the streaming platform CRUNCHYROLL for territories outside of Asia.
Anime fans will be able to find the dubbing cast Kikunosuke Toya (Denji from Chainsaw man) in the role of Heli, Jin Ogasawara (Nayuta Asahi from Argonavis from bang dream!) in the role of Solon, Yuto Uemura (Atsushi Nakajima from Bungo stray dogs) in the role of Jakah, Hiroto Shimizu in the role of Jaan, Shunichi Toki (Kei Tsuzuki from The idolmaster: side m) as Shion, Shugo Nakamura (Teru Tendo from The idolmaster: side m) as Jino, Chiaki Kobayashi (Yukiya Himuro from The ice guy and his cool female colleague) as Noa and Fuka Izumi (Rin Rindo from Highspeed etoile) as Sooha.
Finally, ENHYPEN will continue its “ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘WALK THE LINE’” at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Singapore, from October 3 to 5.
