NANA’s first solo album, marking her return as a “solo artist,” will be unveiled on September 14.

16 Years in the Making! The New Solo World of NANA
Since her debut in 2009 with AFTER SCHOOL, NANA has expanded her activities, both as part of the unit ORANGE CARAMEL and in acting. After 16 years, she is finally ready to shine as a solo artist with her own unique concept and world.
This new album, celebrating her 16-year career, expresses NANA’s honest emotions in the present and her expectations for new directions ahead. The release date coincides with her birthday, allowing her to share this moment with her fans. She also revealed her only tattoo, “1968,” in honor of her mother’s birth year, adding a special dedication to those most important to her.
Revealing a More Honest Inner Self Beyond Outer Glamour
For this album, NANA focused on inner sincerity rather than external glamor. Alongside visuals combining a chic aura and striking silhouette, the concept photos and teaser videos with captivating and intense moods show a straightforward, unpretentious Nana, revealing a new face as a solo artist.
Through this album, she aims to fully express her inner energy with bold and experimental performances. She goes beyond appearances, sharing the true story of NANA that has developed over 16 years.
Showcasing Her Skills as a Producer
NANA did not just contribute vocally or perform; she actively participated in producing the album, taking on the role of producer herself. In doing so, she proved her potential as a versatile solo artist and showcased her full musical capabilities.
The album will deliver a special resonance to music fans, revealing the unique sensitivity and atmosphere that NANA has not yet shown.
NANA’s first solo album, “SEVENTH HEAVEN 16″, featuring the title track “GOD,” premiered its music video on September 14 at 12 PM KST on NANA’s official YouTube channel.
