IDID
On September 15, Starship Entertainment, agency of MONSTA X and IVE, introduces the new seven-member rookie boy group, IDID.
IDID makes its official debut in the music industry with the release of its first mini-album, “I DID IT.”
The seven-member group consists of JANG YONGHOON, KIM MINJAE, PARK WONBIN, CHU YOOCHAN, PARK SEONGHYEON, BAEK JUNHYUK, and JEONG SEMIN, formed through the YouTube survival audition “Debut’s Plan.”
Starship Entertainment introduced IDID, saying:
“IDID is a team selected through ‘Debut’s Plan,’ where members were tested on dance, singing, fan communication, and artistic expression, the essential qualities of an idol. On stage, they are complete and talented idols, whose presence is striking from their gaze alone.”
“I DID IT” is an album that reflects the group’s unique identity and the authentic energy of its members.
It contains eight tracks, including the title song “제멋대로 찬란하게”, as well as “Slow tide,” “Step it up,” and “Sticky bomb.”
“제멋대로 찬란하게” is a free-spirited, energetic song, led by acoustic guitar and rhythmic drums, complemented by the members’ refreshing vocals.
On the same day at 8 p.m. KST, IDID will hold a fan showcase at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul, marking the official start of their activities.
