Singer NAM WOOHYUN captivated Macau with his unique charm.
On September 14, he held his solo concert “식목일5 – 나무고(高) : TREE HIGH SCHOOL” at the Broadway Theatre in Macau, meeting local fans.
“식목일5” is his first solo concert since “식목일4 – TREE WORLD” about 10 months ago. His Seoul performance last month, kicking off the Asian tour, was a huge success with all tickets sold out in record time.
At the Macau concert, NAM WOOHYUN transformed into a trainee teacher of “Tree High,” warmly greeting fans. The show followed a school concept: class president election, musical sets by subject (music, art, sports), and even a lunch break visit to the school kiosk via video, creating a fun and immersive experience.
He performed all tracks from his fifth mini-album “TREE RING” released in July, including the title track “Only 직진”, as well as “3분의 시간 뒤에는 돌아가야 해,” “조용히 내가 안아줄게요,” “널 만나고,” and “가혹해요”, delivering a fiery live performance.
Additionally, he showcased fan-favorite hits such as “Boyfriend,” “Shooting star,” “지금 이 노래,” “Baby baby,” “냉정과 열정 사이,” “My paradise,” and “Hold on me,” proving his energy as a top vocalist with a full live band performance.
After the acclaimed show, NAM WOOHYUN shared via his agency Billions:
“The night in Macau with my fans was beautiful. Thank you for coming and supporting me. I’ll continue to show my best in the upcoming dates and close the tour well.”
Following Seoul and Macau, the “식목일5” Asian tour will continue: October 19 in Taipei, October 25 in Kuala Lumpur, November 15 in Manila, and November 22–23 in Hong Kong.
