The concept of the new album by CHEN, member of EXO and solo singer, has been fully unveiled.
His agency INB100 released, on September 15 and 16 through its official social media channels, the images of the second concept version, titled “OFF,” for CHEN’s 5th mini-album, “ARCADIA.”
While the “ON” version showed the artist as though he had reached his ideal, the “OFF” version instead illustrates the steps of preparation for that journey. It draws attention by metaphorically depicting the passage of time—from a childhood scene highlighted through toys to CHEN’s growth into a mature artist.
In addition, the use of an overall restrained tone and a natural atmosphere, infused with a seasonal touch, creates a more mature and striking mood.
With the unveiling of both visual concepts, which allow a preview of the new album’s universe, CHEN’s artistic emotion is fully conveyed, promising a richer narrative and raising anticipation for the upcoming release.
