ATEEZ
On August 17, ATEEZ released its second Japanese album “ASHES TO LIGHT“.

“ASHES TO LIGHT” follows the album’s first full-length album, “INTO THE A TO Z“, released in March 2021. Upon its release, the album immediately captured the attention of fans around the world. Japanese ATINYs were able to preview two songs from the album at Saitama’s concerts on October 13th, 14th, and 15th, drawing attention to the album.
The title track “Ash” powerfully captures the album’s message, symbolizing renewal and hope after hardship. Over an instrumental blending fantastical textures and dynamic rhythms, ATEEZ‘s evolved vocals and dazzling rapping leave a lasting impression.
Furthermore, the music video for the album, also released on September 17th, offers a glimpse into the gray and fantastical world ATEEZ has created. The members’ stunning visuals, coupled with their captivating performances, are generating significant excitement among ATINYs (fandom name).
“ASHES TO LIGHT” features a total of nine tracks, including the previously released “Not okay“, “Days“, “Birthday“, and “Forevermore“, as well as the previously released “Ash“, “12 midnight“, “Tippy toes“, “Face“, and “Crescendo“.
To celebrate the album’s release, ATEEZ held a showcase in Tokyo on the afternoon of September 17th before continuing its promotion in Japan. At midnight, YUNHO appeared on “JO1’s All Night Nippon X (Cross)“, while on September 18th, HONGJOONG and YEOSANG will perform on “J-WAVE ‘STEP ONE’“, and SAN will perform on “SCHOOL OF LOCK!“.
Finally, ATEEZ will continue its Japanese tour in Nagoya on October 20 and 21, and in Kobe on October 22 and 23.
