BIGBANG 19e anniversaire
Kpop legends BIGBANG are officially kicking off its 20th anniversary celebrations with a monumental first: a performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, marking a symbolic coming-of-age moment in its two-decade career.

BIGBANG is set to take the main stage at Coachella in Indio, California, on April 12 and 19, 2026 (local time). This will be its first official event to mark its 20th debut anniversary, and notably, their first appearance at Coachella under the name BIGBANG, making the performance even more meaningful.
The group had been previously announced as part of Coachella’s 2020 lineup, creating massive buzz globally, but the festival was ultimately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Six years later, BIGBANG will finally stand on the Coachella stage, bringing closure and excitement to fans who have waited patiently.
At his solo concert in March, “2025 World Tour “We’ve Remade” in Korea” at Goyang Sports Complex, G-DRAGON teased fans by saying:
“Next year, my brothers will be here. We’ll be turning 20. And when you turn 20, you celebrate adulthood. We’re going to hold a very sexy ceremony.”
His words were an early signal of BIGBANG’s major anniversary activities.
Recently, G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG have all participated in 집대성, a project led by DAESUNG, and have been guest-performing at each other’s solo concerts, hinting at stronger group synergy ahead of their anniversary.
With Coachella as their first confirmed activity, the anticipation surrounding their 20th anniversary is now officially building, with fans worldwide watching closely.

BIGBANG’s Agency Statement:
“This performance will mark the beginning of BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary celebrations, a legendary return on one of the world’s most iconic stages, beloved by music fans everywhere.”
Known for shaping the Kpop landscape with mega-hits like “Lies,” “Haru haru,” “Blue,” “Sunset Glow,” “Fantastic baby,” “Bang Bang Bang,” “Last dance,” “If you,” and “Manjeongsin,” BIGBANG has remained a cultural force. Since their last group release “Still life“ in April 2022, the group has been quiet musically, but fans are now hopeful that its Coachella appearance signals the start of a full-blown comeback.
As BIGBANG enters its 20th year, all eyes are on what’s next, from a possible new album to more group activities that reconnect them with their global fanbase.
