NO MERCY - JEON SOMIN OST
On September 23 at 6 p.m, JEON SOMIN, member of the co-ed group KARD, will release « I’m toxic », the first OST of the original drama « 단죄 (No mercy) », co-produced by Dramax and Wavve, on various music platforms.
« 단죄 (No mercy) » tells the story about Ha Somin (played by Lee Joo Young), an unknown actress who loses everything to a phone scam and infiltrates the powerful voice phishing syndicate « Ilseongpa ». It is a revenge drama revolving around deepfake technology, portraying the lonely yet courageous battle of a daughter fighting for her mother.
The song « I’m Toxic », performed by JEON SOMIN, is a pop track characterized by its addictive, looping melody. Its lyrics depict a nightmarish reality from which one cannot escape, even while trying to break free from the pain of deep anguish. JEON SOMIN’s unique voice, both dreamlike and captivating, further heightens the viewers’ immersion in the story.
So far, JEON SOMIN has showcased a wide musical spectrum through KARD’s intense and fatal performances. Her contribution to the « 단죄 (No mercy) » OST follows this path, raising strong expectations from both fans and audiences.
