The MBC weekend drama “TO THE MOON” successively reveals two parts of the OST performed by ZHANG HAO from the top group ZEROBASEONE, as well as by the lead actor KIM YOUNG DAE.
The production of “TO THE MOON” announced that part 3 of the OST, ZHANG HAO’s song “Refresh!”, will be released on September 26 at 18:00 KST on major music platforms. The next day, September 27 at noon KST, an album including two songs performed by KIM YOUNG DAE under his character Han Ji Woo, “별똥별” and “갈릴레이 갈릴레오”, will be revealed, followed by their first live performance on MBC “Show Music Core” the same day.
ZHANG HAO’s OST, “Refresh!”, is a cheerful and bright song reflecting the bond between the characters played by Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran, and Jo A-ram. In a disco-funk style, ZHANG HAO’s refreshing voice blends with rhythmic brass and funky guitars, offering a high-quality production. The artist also makes his acting debut as Wei Lin, Ji Ssong’s Chinese boyfriend (played by Jo A-ram), providing fans with a double surprise.
Lead actor KIM YOUNG DAE further enriches the dramatic immersion by lending his voice to two songs. In episode 2 aired on September 20, Lee Sun Bin’s character sang “별똥별” in a karaoke scene that caught Han Ji Woo’s attention. Fans can now enjoy this song performed by KIM YOUNG DAE himself. This track is a mid-tempo rock ballad, combining classical piano, elegant orchestration, and dynamic progression that highlights his vocal tone.
The second song, “갈릴레이 갈릴레오”, pairs a lively synth atmosphere with witty lyrics. It humorously and empathetically expresses everyday fatigue, echoing Galileo’s famous quote, “And yet, it moves.” This track will also be released in a special version performed by the young singer Yoon So-i and children from the Chamnamu daycare.
Generating high anticipation, KIM YOUNG DAE will perform “별똥별” and “갈릴레이 갈릴레오” live on “Show Music Core” on the release day.
Adapted from the eponymous novel, “TO THE MOON” tells, in a hyper-realistic tone, the story of three women of modest means who invest in cryptocurrency to survive. The series stars Lee Sun Bin, Ra Mi-ran, Jo A-ram, and KIM YOUNG DAE in the main roles.
“Refresh!” by ZHANG HAO will be available on September 26 at 18:00 KST, while “별똥별” and “갈릴레이 갈릴레오” performed by Han Ji Woo (KIM YOUNG DAE) will be available on September 27 at noon KST on major music platforms.
