Rising Thai star NUNEW CHAWARIN has arrived in Seoul to make his mark in the world of KPOP, where many idols from his country have already left their impression.

Citing singer IU and Jaehyun of NCT as his favorite K-POP artists, NUNEW CHAWARIN describes his Korean debut single, “LEAVE ME WITH YOUR LOVE“, as a “K-POP song fused with the Nunew style.”
“I’ve been listening to K-POP songs since I was young,” said the 24-year-old during his Korean debut showcase held this Monday in southern Seoul.
“I’m still very young and have a lot to experiment with and learn. I hope to keep improving in performance, just like other very talented K-POP artists,” he added, pointing out the “impeccable qualities of K-POP production, choreography, and singing in music videos.”
Born Chawarin Perdpiriyawong in Bangkok, NUNEW CHAWARIN rose to fame through his acting debut in the TV drama “Cutie pie series” (2022) and launched his music career with the single “ANYTHING“ in 2023.
In August of last year, the actor-singer attracted over 20,000 spectators during his first solo concert in Bangkok and was named Music Artist of the Year at the TikTok Thailand Awards 2024.

Recently, he also expanded his Korean audience by performing at the SBS summer music festival “Gayo Dajeon” in July and collaborating with Korean singer-songwriter Paul Kim to release “Blooming just for you” in March of last year.
NUNEW CHAWARIN’s Korean debut single, “LEAVE ME WITH YOUR LOVE“, will be released this Tuesday at 6 PM KST, and the artist will hold a showcase for fans on Wednesday at the Yes24 Live Hall in eastern Seoul.
Composed by BIGHIT MUSIC producer El Capitxn, “Leave me with your love” is an R&B track incorporating rap verses. The song and its music video mark a notable shift from his previous releases in Thailand and Japan, where he officially debuted last year. The track highlights a more mature side of NUNEW CHAWARIN, moving away from his usual cute and approachable image.
“When I first heard the song, I thought it would be difficult, and it was really different from anything I had done before. The song required a strong vocal foundation, so I spent a lot of time thinking about how to deliver the vocals,” he explained.
Looking ahead, he hopes to appear on Korean variety shows and eventually collaborate with the country’s top artists.

“There are so many artists I’d like to collaborate with, including, of course, my favorite artists,” said NUNEW CHAWARIN, again referencing IU and Jaehyun of NCT. “And, hopefully, maybe in the future, I’d also like to work with BTS and Blackpink.”
