TWICE received the Prime Minister’s Award at the “2025 대한민국 대중문화예술상“.
TWICE was announced as a winner during the 16th edition of the “대한민국 대중문화예술상 (Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards 2025)”, held on October 23 at the Haerom Theater of the National Theater in Seoul, Jung District.
Due to their overseas concert schedule, the members of TWICE were unable to attend the ceremony in person. Through their agency JYP ENTERTAINMENT, the group stated:
“We are sincerely grateful to receive this prestigious award. It is even more meaningful to receive it alongside many people contributing to the development of popular culture. We also warmly thank our fandom ONCE, who always provides us with great support.”
On the occasion of its 10th debut anniversary, TWICE continues to break records in their career. Its special anniversary album “TEN: THE STORY GOES ON” ranked 11th on the Billboard 200 on October 25, making TWICE the first female K-pop group to place 10 albums on this chart.
Additionally, TWICE contributed to the original Netflix series soundtrack “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS“. The songs performed by the group, “Takedown” and “Strategy” from their 14th mini-album, remained on the main Billboard Hot 100 chart for 15 and 13 consecutive weeks, respectively.
