BTS’ RM makes history as the first Kpop artist to speak at APEC.
BTS member RM will deliver a keynote speech at the APEC CEO Summit, a side event of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Summit, taking place in Gyeongju on October 29.
RM will speak on October 29 at 3:05 p.m. for approximately ten minutes during a cultural session on the theme: “Creative Cultural Industries in the APEC Region and the Soft Power of K-Culture.”
The APEC CEO Summit brings together political and economic leaders from the 21 member countries to discuss industrial innovations and new dynamics shaping the global economy.
This marks the first time a Kpop artist has been invited to deliver a speech at the event.
