HOON, KEVIN, and KISEOP from U-KISS have announced a new beginning with a fresh unit lineup.
On November 1, HOON, KEVIN, and KISEOP of U-KISS opened the official social media accounts for their new group UX1, revealing the logo and an introductory video. They shared:
“We’re coming back to you under the name UX1. Please give us your love and support.”
UX1’s first event will take place on December 20 and 21 at Dream Square in Osaka, Japan. To celebrate the Christmas season, they will hold the concert “FIRST WINTER STORY” to wrap up the year with their fans.
On December 24 and 25, they will continue with two more performances of “FIRST WINTER STORY” at TIAT Sky Hall in Tokyo. Detailed information about these shows will be available through FC LIVE’s official social media channels.
For reference, U-KISS debuted in 2008 as a six-member group consisting of ALEXANDER, SOOHYUN, KIBUM, ELI, KEVIN, and DONGHO. After ALEXANDER and KIBUM left in 2011, HOON and AJ joined the lineup. The group later went through several changes, including DONGHO’s departure, AJ’s hiatus, the addition of JUN (Lee Jun Young), KEVIN’s departure, and the contract expirations of ELI and KISEOP.
Currently, U-KISS continues its activities with five members: SOOHYUN, HOON, KISEOP, ALEXANDER, and ELI.
