TWS has revealed the behind-the-scenes process of recording its title track, filled with “pure intensity.”

On November 1, TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) released a video on the group’s official YouTube channel titled “Locker No.42 | EP.2 어제도 오늘도 준비됐어 난 | TWS (투어스)”.
While the first episode showcased TWS’s journey toward a powerful performance, this new episode highlights the recording process of the title track “Overdrive”, revealing the members’ passionate efforts to achieve vocal perfection.
The recording studio was brimming with energy. The members fully immersed themselves in their voices, taking multiple takes to achieve the best possible result. SHINYU actively collaborated with the director to find the ideal tone for the lyrics, while HANJIN repeatedly practiced his parts, maintaining focus throughout. JIHOON, full of determination, encouraged himself with phrases like “I can do it!” and “Let’s go all out!”, expressing his passion in his own way.
Throughout the takes, the talent and perseverance of TWS shone through. KYUNGMIN highlighted a soft and charming vocal color capable of conveying cheerfulness, YOUNGJAE, despite vocal issues, impressed with powerful ad-libs, and DOHOON amazed the team with the strength of his vocal volume, nearly saturating the sound.
In addition, the album “PLAY HARD” conveys the message of giving everything with youth and passion in every effort. This new release sold nearly 640,000 copies during its first week (October 13–19), breaking the initial sales record of their previous album. Furthermore, it immediately ranked first on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking (October 30) upon its release in Japan, confirming the group’s global popularity.
TWS will perform today (November 2) on the show “Inkigayo” on SBS, where they will present their title track “Overdrive” for the first time.
