NEWJEANS - HANNI
The announcement of NEWJEANS’ return to activities under ADOR was delayed due to the absence of one member, and it has been confirmed, according to a StarNews report published Monday, that it was HANNI, who was in Antarctica.
Fans had first speculated that the member in question was DANIELLE, after discovering that a marathon in Antarctica was scheduled for December, a theory reinforced by the fact that DANIELLE joined a running group with other celebrities earlier this year and had recently completed a 10-kilometer race in Sydney.
According to StarNews, HANNI was absent from a meeting held last Tuesday between Lee Do Kyong, the CEO of ADOR, the four other members of NEWJEANS, and their parents, because she was overseas.
ADOR reportedly stated that a separate meeting would be arranged with HANNI when she returns to Korea.
Last Wednesday, all five members of NEWJEANS expressed their intention to resume group activities under ADOR. HAERIN and HYEIN made the announcement first, together, through the agency. The three other members then released a separate statement, indicating that “one member is currently in Antarctica causing a delay in coordinating our response”.
ADOR has not yet confirmed its reconciliation with MINJI, DANIELLE, and HANNI.
