Former GOLDEN CHILD member, CHOI SUNGYUN (Y), is launching solo with his first song after his agency transfer.
Today (the 5th), OAK COMPANY announced on its official social media the release of CHOI SUNGYUN’s first single, “AURORA”, and published an image of the release schedule.
According to the schedule image, from this date, concept photos allowing a glimpse of the atmosphere of CHOI SUNGYUN’s new song and his more mature visuals will be released successively from December 8 to 10.
Then, on the 11th, a music video teaser will fully convey the multiple charms of the song, and on the 13th, the song “Aurora” along with its music video will be unveiled.
CHOI SUNGYUN’s first single, “AURORA”, captures the moment where the end and the beginning of a day meet, connecting organically to CHOI SUNGYUN’s story like the sun that sets and rises again. The song combines a warm band sound, CHOI SUNGYUN’s soft voice, and a three-dimensional emotional line where excitement, nostalgia, and hope intertwine, allowing to experience CHOI SUNGYUN’s journey so far.
With this album, CHOI SUNGYUN plans to open the first page of his solo career, accumulating his own narrative with sincere emotions, expressiveness, and music that has become more mature.
Moreover, CHOI SUNGYUN, former member of GOLDEN CHILD, officially debuted in August 2017 with the first EP album “GOL-CHA!” and continued various musical activities while remaining active in the group. Last month, he signed an exclusive contract with OAK COMPANY and announced the official start of his solo career.
CHOI SUNGYUN’s first single, “AURORA”, will be released on December 13 at noon KST, and pre-orders start today (the 5th) at 3 PM KST.
