WINNER - SONG MINHO
SONG MINHO, member of WINNER, suspected of misconduct during his civil service as a social service agent, including failing to properly attend work, has been brought to justice.

According to judicial sources, on December 30, the 1st Criminal Department of the Seoul Western District Prosecutor’s Office (Chief Prosecutor Won Shin-hye) indicted SONG MINHO for violating the Military Service Act without detention. The person responsible for managing his service, Mr. A, was also brought to justice for the same facts.
SONG MINHO served as a social service agent from March 2023 to last December at a public facility in Mapo-gu, Seoul. However, allegations arose that he was absent for long periods or repeatedly left his workplace, neglecting his military obligations.
Last December, the Military Service Office officially requested a police investigation, which referred SONG MINHO to the prosecution in May with a recommendation for prosecution. It is reported that, during the police investigation, he largely admitted to leaving the workplace during service hours.
The prosecution stated:
“Analysis of mobile phone data and the location system allowed tracing SONG MINHO’s movements and revealed, in addition to previously known absences, other cases of unauthorized neglect.”
