MW ENTERTAINMENT (led by LEE WONMIN) announced its official entry into the music industry.

After discovering B1A4, OH MY GIRL, and ONF and developing them into major groups in Korea, LEE WONMIN, a symbolic figure in the industry, officially announced today (the 7th) the establishment of MW ENTERTAINMENT.
LEE WONMIN founded WM ENTERTAINMENT in 2008 and is nicknamed the “Midas hand” of the music industry for discovering and developing B1A4, OH MY GIRL, ONF, LEE CHAE YEON, and USPEER.
Following the announcement last August of his separation from major shareholder RBW, LEE WONMIN reportedly launched MW ENTERTAINMENT in the former Mangwon-dong headquarters originally built for WM ENTERTAINMENT, while reuniting with employees who have worked alongside him for many years. As a first step, LEE WONMIN plans to accelerate USPEER’s comeback within the year, along with preparations for a new boy group.
In particular, USPEER, a group presented by LEE WONMIN approximately ten years after OH MY GIRL, is a project to which he holds deep attachment. After amicable discussions with RBW, the transfer of exclusive contracts and trademark rights was secured, and the group plans to actively prepare its album with the goal of a comeback in the first half of the year.
LEE WONMIN, CEO of MW ENTERTAINMENT, stated confidently:
“Based on my judgment, experience, and expertise accumulated over the past 30 years, I will make this year a new stage of renewal. I hope you will look forward to the birth of new KPOP artists who can lead trends, equipped with musicality, talent, and human values.”
Meanwhile, the announcement of the establishment of MW ENTERTAINMENT, led by LEE WONMIN, is drawing strong attention from industry professionals and fans alike, while anticipation for USPEER’s comeback continues to grow.
