The group LUCY announced SHIN GWANG IL’s discharge on March 1 via its official SNS, posting photos with the message:
“LUCY maknae SHIN GWANG IL is back in the arms of the hyung!”
In the published photos, SHIN GWANG IL appears in military uniform saluting, surrounded by LUCY members celebrating his discharge, catching fans’ attention.
SHIN GWANG IL said, “I didn’t think the year of my discharge would come, but I’m here and was able to be discharged like this” and “I thank everyone who waited for me. I will work hard.”
Additionally, in the afternoon, SHIN GWANG IL also communicated with fans through a live streaming session with the members.
