According to PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT, label of the group under HYBE MUSIC GROUP, on March 2, tickets for “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] ENCORE” were completely sold out on February 27, the day of the FC membership presale. The concert will be held on April 4 and 5 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.
The fact that SEVENTEEN concludes a 7-month tour at this venue, the starting point of the world tour, adds significance to the event. The concert will be available not only in-person but also via online live streaming, and an enthusiastic reaction from CARAT, the fandom, worldwide is expected.
Since September 13 and 14 in Incheon, SEVENTEEN has continued its “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]” in Hong Kong, North America, Japan, and elsewhere. This tour, filled with solo stages for each member, dynamic group performances, and grand, sophisticated staging, has received high praise from foreign media, such as “a completely new show full of energy and catharsis” (Billboard) and “a turning point opening a new era for SEVENTEEN” (Just Jared).
The tour is currently running successfully in major cities in Asia. SEVENTEEN returned to Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on February 28 and March 1, five months later, setting a record as the first K-pop artist to sell out four concerts. Approximately 73,000 spectators gathered over the two days, demonstrating their immense global popularity. The concerts will continue on March 7 at the National Stadium in Singapore, on March 14 and 15 at the National Stadium in Bangkok, and on March 21 at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan.
Even after the end of the encore concert, SEVENTEEN’s momentum will not stop. The ‘메보즈’ DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN will open “DxS [소야곡] ON STAGE” from April 17 to 19 at Inspire Arena in Incheon. S.Coups X MINGYU will then head to Kaohsiung Arena from April 24 to 26 to present “CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY”.
