Singer BoA will begin a new chapter of her career through her agency that she founded herself, BApal Entertainment, the agency said this Tuesday.
“BoA has decided to adopt a new structure in order to pursue her musical direction”, BApal Entertainment stated.
“The most important assets that have shaped BoA into who she is today are her precious memories and her valuable experiences [as an artist] over the years, and she plans to strengthen her musical foundations based on these learnings.”
The name BApal Entertainment combines “BoA” and the English word “pal”, reflecting her intention to get even closer to her fans, according to the agency.
BoA left SM Entertainment in December 2025 after having been with the company since her debut at the age of 14 in 2000. She led the first generation of the Korean wave in Asia.
BoA is known for hits such as “No. 1” (2002), “Valenti” (2002) and “Only one” (2012).
