The singer WOODZ (JO SEUNG YEON) has released the teaser for the music video of his title track “Human extinction,” raising anticipation for the release of his first studio album.

EDAM ENTERTAINMENT released on March 3 at 0:00 KST on its official SNS the teaser for “Human extinction,” taken from WOODZ’s first studio album, “ARCHIVE. 1”.
The approximately 30-second video begins with narration in a black-and-white atmosphere: “빛이 너의 어둠까지 밝힌다면 너는 감당할 수 있을까” (“If the light illuminates even your darkness, can you endure it?”). Powerful percussion and lively band sounds follow, creating a dynamic and intense atmosphere.
The clip features three characters: a student, an office worker, and a doctor, the doctor role played by veteran actor PARK HEE SOON, known for his roles in “The Judge Return” and “No Other Choice”, adding weight to the scene. Beside each character, WOODZ, dressed in white with an unreadable expression, intrigues viewers about his role.
The staging sensitively explores the contrast between “light” and “darkness,” the central theme of the track. The same scene is presented in completely different atmospheres depending on lighting and shadows, suggesting human duality. On the face, one side bathed in light and the other in shadow, appears the phrase “Light is born in the presence of darkness,” visually illustrating the coexistence of light and darkness. The teaser culminates with WOODZ’s clear voice, intensifying anticipation for the full song and music video.
The title track “Human extinction” explores light and human duality. Beginning with the reflection “Light illuminates my path but must also reveal and burst to shine,” it questions whether one can endure the light exposing weaknesses and desires. The song raises a philosophical question about the definition of being human between perfection and imperfection.
“ARCHIVE. 1” is WOODZ’s first studio album since his debut, representing a new beginning and the first record of this phase. He participated in composing, writing, and producing all tracks, condensing his own musical identity. With his original track “Drowning” having reached first place on annual national charts on Melon and other platforms, he has established himself as a “trustworthy” artist, and this new album promises further musical expansion.
WOODZ’s first studio album, “ARCHIVE. 1”, will be available for listening starting March 4 at 18:00 KST on all online music platforms.
