The comeback concert at Gwanghwamun of the group BTS will be expanded to a total capacity of 22,000 seats with the addition of standing places. BTS will hold a free concert commemorating its comeback on the 21st at 8 PM KST around Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.
On March 10, BIGHIT MUSIC announced: “Additional reservations for “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG” will take place on March 12 at 8 PM KST on NOL Ticket.”
The additional seats will be installed as a fully standing zone from the south of the Sejong-daero intersection to the surroundings of City Hall Station on Line 1 via Gwanghwamun Station on Line 5. Spectators in this area will be able to enjoy the concert via large LED screens installed on site. The additional standing places are known to number 7,000.
BIGHIT MUSIC explained: “The seating capacity was calculated by giving absolute priority to on-site safety and crowd dispersion.”
The organizers also plan to strengthen measures to prevent illegal ticket resales and fraudulent entries.
First, they will monitor and report illegal online resale posts in real time in order to proactively block the black market. In addition, in order to prevent fraudulent entries, the identity verification procedure will be strengthened for all spectators. Additional authentication will be introduced in areas where strong illegal resale activity is expected.
BIGHIT MUSIC indicated: “Detailed identity verification procedures will be announced in advance on the relevant sites in order to minimize confusion on site.”
Before the concert, BTS will make its comeback on March 20 at 1 PM KST with the fifth studio album “ARIRANG”. This concert will be broadcast live on the online video service NETFLIX.
