The member of DAY6, WONPIL, will make his solo comeback on the 30th, four years later.
On March 9 in the afternoon, JYP ENTERTAINMENT published on the official SNS of DAY6 a sound film poster announcing WONPIL’s new solo album. According to it, WONPIL will present on March 30 at 6 PM KST his first mini-album “UNFILTERED”, which gathers all of his sensitivity.
The revealed teaser content attracted attention by highlighting WONPIL’s dreamy atmosphere. When WONPIL wipes the moisture accumulated across the glass, the drops of water flowing down convey an emotional line, while his voice full of expressive strength sings “텅 빈 숨만 쉬고 있잖아 I’m not alright, oh god 날 구해 줘”, arousing curiosity for the new song.
WONPIL debuted in September 2015 with DAY6, regularly participating in song creation while consolidating his position as a sensitive singer-songwriter thanks to his instrumental and vocal abilities. Attention is focused on the music and the message that WONPIL, who created resonance through his naturally delicate way of expression, will deliver through this new work about four years after his first solo album “PILMOGRAPHY” released in February 2022.
WONPIL’s first mini-album, “UNFILTERED”, will be officially released on March 30 at 6 PM KST.
