Park Jin Young
Singer and producer PARK JINYOUNG (J.Y. Park) will resign from his position as executive director at JYP ENTERTAINMENT (035900).

On March 10, JYP ENTERTAINMENT stated: “PARK JINYOUNG will not stand for re-election as executive director at the general shareholders’ meeting scheduled for the 26th.”
PARK JINYOUNG will remain founder and CCO (Chief Creative Officer) of JYP. He plans to focus in the future on his creative activities as an artist, the development of junior artists, and new external initiatives for the K-pop industry.
Furthermore, PARK JINYOUNG debuted in the music industry in 1994 with “날 떠나지마” and became a star through numerous hits such as Honey”, “그녀는 예뻤다”, “청혼가” and “너의 뒤에서“.
He also became well-known as a composer and, having become a producer, founded and managed an entertainment company since 1997, while pursuing various initiatives in the K-pop industry.
In addition, last September, he was appointed inaugural co-chair of the Committee for Popular Cultural Exchanges, a new ministerial-level body directly under the president, attracting media attention.
