AKMU: Creative and poetic tracklist unveiled for new album

The genius duo AKMU has just surprised fans by revealing the tracklist for its upcoming album in the form of a unique, handcrafted work of art!

This March 30 at midnight (KST), AKMU posted a fascinating image to its social media accounts that serves as the tracklist for its latest project. Moving away from traditional text-based lists, the duo shared a photo of a collection of twelve matchboxes, each opened to reveal a handmade miniature diorama. These small scenes, composed of fabric, embroidery, paper cutouts, and tiny objects, poetically illustrate the universe of each song.

The image is a visual feast. It features miniature landscapes, felt characters, a camping tent, a bonfire, and even miniature clothing. The care given to every detail highlights AKMU’s singular artistic approach, transforming a simple announcement into a true visual experience. The song titles are written in Korean on small paper labels affixed to the boxes, adding a touch of nostalgia and charm.

Consisting of 11 tracks (the first being an intro), this tracklist promises a deep, conceptual album faithful to the singer-songwriter reputation of LEE CHANHYUK and LEE SUHYUN. The image of the first box, featuring “AKMU” embroidered in green on pink checkered fabric, sets the tone for a warm and intimate album.
