The singer KIM JUNSU is publishing a studio album after about 10 years.
On March 31, the agency PALMTREE ISLAND stated: “KIM JUNSU will publish his fifth studio album “GRAVITY” next June”.
KIM JUNSU, who has been active as a musical actor in works such as “Aladdin”, “Beetlejuice” and “Death note”, returns to his primary profession as a singer by presenting a studio album for the first time in about 10 years.
Along with the announcement of the studio album release, KIM JUNSU raised the comeback temperature further by revealing in advance a teasing image embodying the concept of his new opus “GRAVITY” via his official social media. The teasing poster, illustrating the image of light concentrating in the darkness and emphasizing the title “GRAVITY“, intuitively conveys the message of the new album and adds to the expectation for the contents that will be unveiled later.
The term “GRAVITY” of this 5th studio album means “gravity, force of attraction”, and contains the story of people who, despite the passing of time in different directions, end up being irresistibly attracted toward the same point and return to each other without changing, even in the midst of shaking.
KIM JUNSU‘s return is his first new work in about 2 years after the digital single “스물한 번째 계절이 널 기다릴 테니까” released in June 2024, and his first studio album in about 10 years after the 4th studio album “XIGNATURE” in May 2016.
Regarding this new opus, the song “그대 이별은 어떤가요”, which had been revealed by surprise last year during the concert “XIA 2025 CONCERT CHAPTER 2 : FESTA”, will be included in this album.
The fifth studio album of KIM JUNSU, “GRAVITY“, will be released during the month of June.
