“Closet” is a track that treats the familiar subject of breakup in a roundabout way rather than approaching emotions head-on. While taking emptiness and unspoken words as central emotions, it expresses these heavy feelings in a unique way by adding sounds reminding of a cartoon staging.
The composition, which develops the narrative as if it were drawing a scene instead of making a direct confession or an explosion of emotions, is also a characteristic. Rather than explaining feelings, it is staged so that the listener can naturally soak in the scene, thus showing the sensory musical universe specific to JUNG ILHOON.
This single is the second result of “RGB SGNL”, a collaboration project directed by JUNG ILHOON himself. “RGB SGNL” is a project that pursues various genre attempts by renewing producers and featuring artists for each single, and JUNG ILHOON directs the overall planning of it.
