The group I.O.I participated in the work on the tracks, strengthening the sincerity of its 10th anniversary.
I.O.I published the tracklist image of its third mini-album “I.O.I : LOOP” via its official social media on April 27 at midnight.
The title song “갑자기” is a synth-pop genre that delicately expresses the waves of nostalgia that surge without warning, and member JEON SOMI participated in writing the lyrics to sincerely infuse the affection of a reunited relationship. The lyrics that guide listeners toward the past harmonize with the sound of the second half which leaves a deep resonance, offering total immersion.
In addition to the title song, the members participated in the writing and composition of the included songs, increasing the sincerity of this 10th anniversary. One can glimpse the deepened musical capabilities of the members through the pop dance song “Ioi (where my girls at)” in which JEON SOMI participated to capture the liveliness specific to the group, “If i” where YOO YEONJUNG participated to express an unwavering relationship with a rock sound, and up to the ballad track “그때 우리 지금” in which CHUNGHA participated to prolong in a more mature way the narrative of their previous song “소나기”.
In particular, the last track “웃으며 안녕” is an archive title produced by JINYOUNG which contains the fresh voices of the members as they were during the recording in 2016, and is expected to transmit a heavy emotion to fans.
Furthermore, I.O.I will release its third mini-album “I.O.I : LOOP” on May 19 at 6:00 PM KST after a pre-release title on May 4, and will organize a solo concert at the “JAMSIL INDOOR STADIUM” in Seoul for three days, from May 29 to 31.
