A new generation of girl group.

The agency WITHUS ENTERTAINMENT, home to the groups APINK and THE WIND, is preparing to find new talent for the launch of a new girl group, in collaboration with famous producer teams.
On April 30, WITHUS ENTERTAINMENT announced via its official social media the launch of a creation project for a next-generation girl group, planning to begin concept development and member recruitment.
This initiative marks the first new talent project deployed by WITHUS approximately three years after the debut of THE WIND in 2023.
The notable point of this announcement is the combination of an “undetermined debut date” with an “audition” process. Rather than focusing on grandiose promotional packaging for the launch, the agency seems to favor a pragmatic approach: first establishing the musical foundations by engaging SWEETUNE and KZ, authors of many K-pop hits, then rigorously consolidating the project by finding rare gems among trainees.
The agency’s policy, which consists of giving absolute priority to quality without being locked into a specific schedule, follows this same line.
Furthermore, as the first step of this project, WITHUS will organize a national audition in karaoke rooms for one month starting May 1, in partnership with TJ MEDIA. The agency plans to begin multifaceted recruitment targeting aspirants born between 2005 and 2012.
