The new online musical entertainment show “MONTHLY DAUM”, produced by the portal DAUM and hosted by HYNN (Park Hye Won) as a solo MC, marked the birth of high-quality musical content with exceptional live performances from its very first broadcast.

During the first episode revealed on April 30, the “mistress of vocal timbre” SOYOU appeared as the long-awaited first guest.
Host HYNN kicked things off with a powerful performance of SISTAR’s “Give it to me”, filling a laundromat with her voice, while SOYOU warmly congratulated HYNN on her debut as a solo host, creating a friendly atmosphere.
The program highlighted the live performance of “Girl”, the title track of SOYOU’s third EP album, “OFF HOURS”, released on the 29th. SOYOU shared that she infused an autobiographical message into this new track, explaining that “admitting that you are not ‘cool’ is what is truly ‘cool’.”
After a perfect performance, HYNN praised the track, calling it the “best summer song for driving,” to which SOYOU wittily responded: “I hope it plays often in stores and cafes to be listened to a lot,” sparking laughter.
Then, the live interpretation of “I miss you”, the mega-hit OST from the drama “GOBLIN” which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, left a deep impression. When HYNN reacted to the song by reciting the drama’s famous line, “I love you, Mister (Ahjussi),” SOYOU praised her sense of humor, sealing their musical bond.
In an era where short and punchy formats abound, “MONTHLY DAUM” proves the value of a “slow pace” that focuses on the artist’s sincerity and vocal details without artificial staging. The show got off to a successful start, receiving rave reviews from music fans upon its first broadcast.
Furthermore, HYNN, who continues her meteoric rise notably with this hosting role, is preparing to release her new unreleased song “주인공 연습” (provisional title), which had already caused a sensation during a surprise busking at Cheonggye Plaza.
