The members of the group 2NE1 have reunited.
On May 3, SANDARA PARK published three photos on her personal account with the caption “I♥2NE1”.
The shots show SANDARA PARK alongside CL and MINZY. Sporting coordinated stage outfits, they exude a charismatic presence worthy of their status as idols.
However, member PARK BOM was absent from this reunion. Last March, the latter had created controversy on social media by claiming that “SANDARA PARK had been caught for drug use and that, to cover this up, PARK BOM was made to look like a drug addict”.
PARK BOM had added: “At the time, there was no medication like Adderall in the country, and no law existed on the subject. Strangely, the law was created after my case. I ask netizens to please investigate the real facts”.
In response, SANDARA PARK firmly denied it by stating: “I have never consumed drugs”, before unfollowing PARK BOM‘s Instagram account. Subsequently, PARK BOM tried to calm things down by asking to “act as if the drug story never existed” and published a letter praising the other members.
In addition to this incident, PARK BOM has made numerous confusing statements, notably claiming that actor Lee Minho was her husband. She also threatened to sue Yang Hyun Suk, executive producer of YG Entertainment, for fraud and embezzlement, claiming without proof that her income had not been correctly paid.
PARK BOM‘s agency, D-Nation Entertainment, clarified the situation by specifying: “Settlements regarding 2NE1 activities are already completed, and the complaint published on social media was never filed”. The agency added: “PARK BOM is currently in a very unstable emotional state. She is in urgent need of treatment and rest for her recovery”.
