HYOJUNG, a member of the group OH MY GIRL, returns with a solo single after a 1 year and 5 month absence.
The schedule for HYOJUNG‘s first digital single, titled “PURPLE NOTE”, was unveiled this May 11 via OH MY GIRL‘s official social media. The published image, featuring a musical staff where the song titles are written along with touches of purple color, made a strong impression.
The title track of this first single is “나의 작은 청춘에게” (To my little youth). The opus will include a total of three tracks, including “Look around” and the instrumental version of the title track. Notably, HYOJUNG brought a very special dimension to this album by participating in the writing of the lyrics and the composition of all the tracks.
This album marks her return approximately 1 year and 5 months after the release of the special single “HOT DECEMBER” in December 2024. An official stated:
“‘PURPLE NOTE’ is actually the name of the music group in which HYOJUNG was a singer in high school. Through this title, she plans to look back on her first steps in music.”
