The TOP 7 of the show MISS TROT 4 sent the fervor of its national tour soaring to its climax by selling out all sessions in Daegu.
The Daegu concert of the “MISS TROT 4 National Concert Tour”, which was held on May 16 at the Chunma Arts Center in Daegu, thrilled the audience with flawless performances, in an atmosphere as hot as the current weather.
Inheriting intact the fervor of the passionate support from previous cities, this performance in Daegu once again proved the immense popularity of the TOP 7 by recording a “sold out for all sessions”.
On that day, the show opened its doors to explosive cheers from the spectators. After a sumptuous group opening song, the winner LEE SONA took the stage for her solo performance and passionately performed “울고 넘는 박달재”. In particular, she threw surprised shouts in the middle of her song destined for the Daegu public, crying out: “I love Daegu!”, instantly warming up the atmosphere of the venue.
One member also touched the audience by confessing a special connection to Daegu. HEO CHANMI sang “안돼요 안돼” by KIM SANG BAE to perfection live, before declaring to the spectators: “I have deep ties with Daegu. My father is originally from here”, which earned her grand cheers. As she displayed her affection by adding: “Maybe that is why Daegu gives me a completely different feeling from other cities”, resounding applause rained down from the audience.
For her part, the third-place winner HONG SEONG YUN captivated hearts thanks to her uniquely frank and cute way of speaking. HONG SEONG YUN began by declaring: “In the past, I was an ordinary person who, waking up in the morning, wondered what tomorrow would be made of, and finding myself on such a grand stage is like a dream”. She continued by saying: “These days, as a fan club has been created and people recognize me in my daily life to ask for autographs, I truly feel like I am dreaming”. She then asked the audience: “I am not dreaming right now, am I?”, to which fans vigorously responded “It is not a dream” while sending her warm support.
During the second part, the climax of the concert, the even more relaxed communication capability of the TOP 7 shone brightly.
After finishing a medley of lively songs, the “older sister” YOON TAE HWA proposed an impromptu two-line acrostic poem event on the word “Daegu” for the city’s residents. To the rhythm of the syllable “Dae” (대) launched in a powerful voice by the spectators, YOON TAE HWA shouted: “All of you whom I met at the Daegu concert, in South Korea~” (Daehanminguk…). Then, on the syllable “Gu” (구), she responded with wit: “Shout enough to pierce the clouds!” (Gurum…), displaying perfect harmony with the public that filled the Chunma Arts Center.
In addition to that, all members of the TOP 7 offered the Daegu spectators a high-end, well-designed, and unforgettable concert, thanks to solid live vocal skills, deepened sensitivity, and a flamboyant stage presence.
After successfully completing this leg, the national concert tour of the TOP 7 of MISS TROT 4 plans to continue its momentum of success in the main cities of the country, notably Goyang, Gwangju, Ulsan, Jeonju, Suwon, Daejeon, Namyangju, Jeju Island, Changwon, Uijeongbu, Ansan, Seongnam, and Chuncheon.
