G-DRAGON proved his global presence once again.

G-DRAGON plans to mount the stage of “K-SPARK in Kaohsiung 2026” which will be held this coming May 30 at the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan, to decorate its finale. In particular, this show proved an explosive interest by recording a sell-out for all seats in just 30 minutes after the opening of the ticket office.
“K-SPARK” is a large K-pop festival that takes place by making the tour of the main cities in Asia. G-DRAGON, following Bangkok, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur and Macau, inscribes his name as the main artist for the 5th consecutive time up to this Kaohsiung show, showing an incomparable global influence.
The official channel of the festival also raised expectations by presenting G-DRAGON as “a cultural icon having established the sound, style, and spirit of K-pop”, and “an artist who shows an overwhelming presence on any stage”.
G-DRAGON pursued dynamic activities this year by mounting stages in the four corners of the world, beginning with a charity event in France, followed by “K-SPARK Malaysia 2026” and the “KRAZY SUPER CONCERT” in Dubai. In particular, last month, he mounted as a member of BIGBANG on the stage of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the United States, enthusiasing global fans.
For this Kaohsiung show as well, expectations gather on the fact that a performance containing the swag and charisma characteristic of G-DRAGON will deploy. Having created fan chant syndromes that surpass nations and languages, a warm reaction from local fans is also predicted.
