ONF will present Part.2 of its new regular album, a new work in which the members participated for self-composed songs, but also with global producers.

While the members’ field of participation has expanded, the composers with whom they have teamed up so far and a newly combined production team from abroad simultaneously inscribed their names, announcing a musical change.
ONF revealed on May 26, on its official SNS, the tracklist for Part.2 of its 2nd regular album “ONF:MY SELF”. Through this, the composition of the songs of which this present album is constituted, as well as the structure of the participants were revealed first.
According to the revealed content, a total of 6 songs are included in this Part.2, beginning with the title song “Open the door”, followed by “Bad dream”, “Escape”, “Mirage”, “Silver lining” and “Once in a red moon”. The information on the vibe and genre of each track are not yet known in detail, but the flow of the various titles allows gauging the direction of the entire album.
In particular, the composer Hwang Hyun, who has worked together with ONF during all this time, also participates in this Part.2, and attention is turning to the kind of chemistry they will pursue. ONF has built its own musical universe so far by releasing several songs in which Hwang Hyun participated previously, such as “We must love”, “Moscow moscow” and “Beautiful beautiful”.
To this, composers from abroad join to expand the color of the album even a bit further. Ronny Svendsen, Adrian Thesen, Anne Judith Wik, JOP, and Eirik Gjendemsjø inscribed their names in the credits of this new work. They are presented to have also worked with NCT DREAM, LE SSERAFIM or RIIZE, and interest is turning toward the synergy they will produce with ONF.
The direct participation of the members is also striking. MINKYUN participated in the composition of the title song “Open the door” and the third track “Escape”. WYATT lent a hand to the lyrics work by inscribing his name in the lyrics credits of these two songs. With the members having embarked on the production process from the title to the b-side tracks, attempts to contain the group’s color in a more direct way continue.
This Part.2 progressively reveals its contours within the flow of prior promotions. ONF announced the start of the Part.2 project of its new 2nd regular album by first presenting a coming soon video this past 18th. Subsequently, in the trailer video for “ONF:MY SELF”, it transmitted in advance the feelings that the album will treat by announcing content aiming to contain the process of moving forward despite confusion, anxiety, and wounds.
Following the coming soon and the trailer, with the tracklist having been revealed sequentially, the direction of the comeback is progressively taking shape. This amounts to saying that the points ONF wishes to show in this album are presented in stages, the grand flow of the narrative revealing itself in the videos, and the participants as well as the composition of the songs revealing themselves in the tracklist.
The base of ONF‘s activities also experienced a change. The group started its activities within a new agency by signing a collective exclusive contract with KI Entertainment at the beginning of this year. Subsequently, it expanded its points of contact with fans by conducting fan-meetings and launching the own content “Qu’est-ce que tu fais ? ON !”, and it is accelerating the work of its new album in parallel.
In the midst of this flow, Part.2 of the 2nd regular album “ONF:MY SELF” places itself as a major result presented after the system transition with the new agency. With the participation of the members, the combination of existing and new production teams, as well as the previously announced story direction adding up, it is expected to become a work that reveals the current position of ONF.
Furthermore, Part.2 of the 2nd regular album “ONF:MY SELF” of ONF will be published this coming June 17 at 6 p.m.
