NCT - MARK
The group NCT-born MARK (Mark Lee) will attend the World Environment Day event in Azerbaijan.

According to the new agency UPPER ROOM on June 5th, MARK will take the stage at the opening event of World Environment Day, which will be held this day at 11 a.m. (local time) in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Celebrated every year on June 6th, World Environment Day is a representative international environmental event organized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This year’s official commemorative event is held in Baku, in the host country, Azerbaijan, in the presence of major figures and artists such as Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and UNEP Executive Director Inger Andersen.
MARK announced last April the end of his contract with SM ENTERTAINMENT, with whom he had been since his debut, as well as his departure from the group NCT. Having been a part of NCT 127 and NCT DREAM, MARK thus put an end to all his activities within NCT.
Subsequently, MARK expressed his feelings through a long letter, stating:
“I discussed this decision a lot with the members, and absolutely every single one of them supported me. I am so grateful to them that tears come to my eyes just thinking about it, and I will feel bad about it for the rest of my life.”
After leaving his former agency and his group, he officialized on the 4th the creation of the creative company UPPER ROOM alongside his collaborators. MARK, who takes the stage of World Environment Day as his first official act, plans to present this day a solo performance of his still unreleased self-composed song ““Ready or not””.
