LISA
The member LISA of the group BLACKPINK engraved her presence on the stage of the World Cup, the “festival of the peoples of the world”, thus establishing another milestone.

LISA rose on June 12 (local time) on the stage of the opening ceremony of the “FIFA World Cup 2026” which was held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, in the United States, to meet football fans from the entire world. This day, LISA presented “Goals”, a song included in the official album of the World Cup, alongside the pop star of Brazilian origin Anitta and the Nigerian artist Rema.
It is LISA who opened the beginning of the stage. She traveled the field alongside dozens of dancers by deploying an intense performance, and made the atmosphere of the site climb at once thanks to a live without shaking and an overwhelming stage domination capacity. Thereafter, Anitta and Rema appeared in turn, and the three people decorated the finale in front of a large structure in the shape of a trophy installed in the center of the stadium, raising the fervor of the opening ceremony to its climax.
The reactions of global fans immediately after the show were also ardent. On social networks and online communities, reactions such as: “It was the best moment of the opening ceremony of the World Cup”, “As one could expect from a global star”, “She completely dominated the stage”, “Her presence was overwhelming” flooded.
The reason why this stage attracts even more attention is due to its symbolism. LISA left a new record by presenting a live performance on the stage of the opening ceremony of the World Cup for the first time among the members of K-pop girl groups. The fact that a K-pop artist led the central stage during a global event where music and sport meet is evaluated as a stage showing the raised status of K-pop.

“Goals” also contains the meaning of a global project. This song, where Latin pop, K-pop and afrobeats combine, wove into a single set the musical colors of different cultural zones. LISA had stated previously: “Music connects people from the entire world into a single whole”, and “It is an honor to work alongside Anitta and Rema”.
In the music industry, one sees this stage of the opening ceremony of the World Cup as an example showing the international influence that LISA secured as a solo artist. Beyond the activities of BLACKPINK, the evaluation is that LISA, who expanded her international presence in the whole of music, fashion and entertainment, also stood at the center of a stage on which the entire world carries its attention.

In this World Cup, the achievements of K-pop artists follow one after another, showing the influence of the global music market. Following LISA who rose on the stage of the opening ceremony, the singer-songwriter EJAE, who attracted attention by taking charge of the vocals of the main character Rumi in the Netflix animation “K-pop demon hunters”, performed with fervor the World Cup theme song “Dna” alongside the global tenor Andrea Bocelli during the opening show which was held in Mexico City last 11th. Particularly, EJAE concentrated the attention of spectators from the entire world by presenting on stage the Korean lyrics that she wrote herself: “Even if I fall again, I stand up once more”.
In addition, BTS plans to rise on the stage of the halftime show of the final which will be held next July 19 in New Jersey in New York, in the United States, so that the presence of K-pop artists should continue throughout the competition.
