Rumors of separation between the member of the group TWICE, TZUYU and her agency JYP ENTERTAINMENT, have been raised.
On July 14, the agency JYP ENTERTAINMENT shared a cautious position regarding this matter, stating:
“The members of TWICE are in a period of discussion for the renewal of their contracts, and we will inform you as soon as the situation is confirmed.”
The group TWICE debuted in 2015. TZUYU, who made her official debut in the music industry as a member at that time, has accompanied JYP ENTERTAINMENT for 11 years by conducting dynamic activities. In addition, TZUYU distinguished herself as a solo artist by releasing the mini-album “ABOUTZU” in September 2024.
Earlier that day, media reported that TZUYU had agreed not to renew her contract with her agency JYP ENTERTAINMENT and to associate only with activities as a member of TWICE. Previously, all members of TWICE had signed a contract renewal in July 2022, and they are preparing to begin their second contract renewal.
