CHA GA WON, chairman of the P.ARK group and representative of entertainment agency ONE HUNDRED, finds herself at a crossroads regarding her arrest.
On August 3 from around 10 a.m. KST, the chief judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court, Bu Dong Sik, proceeded with the pre-arrest suspect examination (actual warrant examination) regarding CHA GA WON, suspected of violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Economic Crimes (fraud).
CHA GA WON, who appeared at court with her lawyers that day around 9:27 a.m. KST, stated: ““I will answer sincerely and return”” to the question from reporters asking ““on which points are you mainly going to explain today”“.

CHA GA WON is suspected of having received large down payments after concluding contracts by proposing to industry companies a project using the intellectual property (IP) of celebrities belonging to the agency she leads, but of not having executed the actual project. The amount of damages reportedly amounts to about 30 billion won.
However, CHA GA WON‘s camp entirely denies the suspicions regarding the various allegations surrounding her, maintaining that they were raised as part of a hostile merger and acquisition (M&A).
In this regard, the police raided the subsidiary of ONE HUNDRED, BIG PLANET MADE ENTER, in April and summoned CHA GA WON as a suspect for questioning in May.
