The trending idol group CORTIS has reached 15 million followers on Instagram in the shortest time for a K-pop group.
The official Instagram account of CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, Keonho) surpassed 15 million followers on August 5, just one year after uploading their first post. Among the K-pop groups that have debuted in the past 5 years, CORTIS is the only group to have crossed the 15 million subscriber milestone. Furthermore, as of August 8 at 10 a.m. KST, they proved their overwhelming impact by recording the highest number of followers among male K-pop groups that debuted in the past 5 years on TikTok (15.82 million) and YouTube (6.24 million).
In particular, a strong upward trend appeared on the 1st (local time), the day they performed on stage at the major American music festival “Lollapalooza Chicago”. The enthusiastic reaction of 50,000 spectators to a solid live performance spread via social networks, boosting the influx of new followers.

In addition, CORTIS is expanding its touchpoints with global fans thanks to its tour “2026 CORTIS TOUR IN NORTH AMERICA” which travels across 6 North American cities until the 16th, including Atlanta (on the 8th) and Los Angeles (on the 13th). The group will then perform on the 22nd and 23rd at the Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seoul, then from September 4 to 6 at the Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa, Japan.
