Two members of THE BOYZ already signed in new agencies for their future career.

THE BOYZ – ERIC
Following the announcement that they would continue their careers as the group THE BOYZ, all nine members have decided to sign with agencies that allow them to pursue solo activities according to their own preferences, while still prioritizing the group.
First, the group’s youngest member, ERIC, has signed an exclusive contract with the agency GRID Entertainment and is preparing to fully immerse himself in music. On August 10, GRID Entertainment announced: “We have signed an exclusive contract with Eric from THE BOYZ. We plan to provide him with our full support so that he can fully express his artistic talent across various fields, particularly music. We are delighted to collaborate with Eric, an artist with exceptional talent and limitless potential. We will support him fully so that he can showcase his abilities and shine on major stages. We look forward to revealing new horizons through upcoming activities and hope for your continued interest and support.”

ERIC has impressed with his exceptional dancing skills since the group’s early days. Since then, he has developed his musical abilities by participating in rap production and songwriting, and his potential as a presenter and radio host was also recognized when he won the Radio Rookie Award at the 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards.
ERIC also shared his thoughts on this new career move: “Drawing on the experience I gained with THE BOYZ, I will reveal new facets of myself and explore new possibilities.” He added: “I align with the musical direction and production vision of GRID Entertainment and its CEO, and I feel it matches the image I wish to project. I am confident that we can create a fruitful synergy built on trust and respect. I hope you look forward to seeing what we create together.”

Next, regarding HYUNJAE, according to an exclusive Star News article published on August 10, the artist recently signed an exclusive contract with SEE SUN Entertainment. This agency represents actors such as Shin Hye-sun, Kim Hyun-joo, Cha Chung-hwa, Park Hee-soon, Kim Jung-hyun, Kim In-kwon, and Ahn Sung-jae.
HYUNJAE, who debuted with THE BOYZ in December 2017, is a multi-talented artist who excels in various fields, including variety shows, hosting, radio, and advertising.

Previously, the nine members of THE BOYZ—excluding NEW—decided to continue their group activities and finalized a contract for collective operations. The group is preparing to operate under a new label. It appears the members deliberated at length, prioritizing a decision centered on the fans who are eagerly awaiting the group’s activities before addressing individual projects. Consequently, each member plans to pursue individual activities by signing a separate contract with a company capable of maximizing their respective strengths, while group activities will continue seamlessly in parallel through full collaboration.
