Group FIFTY FIFTY member ATHENA steps onto the mound as a ceremonial pitcher for the first time since her debut in professional baseball.
According to her agency ATTRAKT, ATHENA of FIFTY FIFTY will be the ceremonial pitcher for the match between the KIA Tigers and the Lotte Giants taking place on August 26 at Gwangju-KIA Champions Field.
This ceremonial pitch is part of a relay pitching event organized to wish for victory during the KIA Tigers’ home games held on the 25th and 26th at Gwangju-KIA Champions Field, and ATHENA was selected as the second participant.
Performing a ceremonial pitch for the first time since her debut, ATHENA shared her thoughts through ATTRAKT:
“It is an honor to do the ceremonial pitch for the KIA Tigers, and I am happy and excited to take on this first ceremonial pitch”,
adding: “I wish and will cheer for all the players participating in the match so that they do not get injured and deliver a great game.”
