The group TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) will present a special stage for 42 (fandom name).
According to the group’s agency Hybe Music Pledis Entertainment on August 28, TWS will appear on Mnet’s show “M Countdown” broadcast on September 3 and will reveal for the first time the stage of the Korean version of “Soda soda”, the title song of their 2nd Japanese single. It is a special stage realized thanks to the fervent reception of this song in the country and abroad.
Released last August 4 in Japan, “Soda soda” is a song that expresses with a refreshing synthpop sound the overflowing feeling like soda towards another. TWS transmits the thrill of youth through familiar Korean lyrics on this stage.

It swept 1st place in the dance category of iTunes and Apple Music’s “Top Songs” in Japan, as well as the real-time search ranking on AWA, and became the first K-pop song this year to reach the top of Billboard Japan’s general songs chart “Japan Hot 100”. Local stars are participating in the challenge using the key choreography that raises the thumb, attracting attention on social media.
In Korea as well, the reaction is vivid. “Soda soda” entered the “Hot 100” of Melon, a major music site in the country, and ranked among the top trending music on YouTube Korea. The music video for this song also rose to 3rd place in the “Daily Popular Music Videos” on YouTube Korea.
