Singer-songwriter SLOWLY returns with a new song of warm sensitivity.
SLOWLY releases her new digital single “GARDEN” today, October 2, at 12 p.m. KST via various music sites.
“Garden” is a song born from the sudden thought “Wouldn’t a person’s heart be the same?” one day when a piece of clothing that had been folded needed to be unfolded again. It expresses in a calm and sincere language the story of a heart once set aside that unfolds again upon meeting someone, and hearts thus gathered that end up forming a garden.
In particular, this song contains an even deeper musical color by continuing the grain of the R&B sound that SLOWLY had let be heard until now, while adding a gentle melody and cozy sound to it. Starting with a restrained groove, sounds of various layers gradually accumulate to broaden the atmosphere of the song, and naturally paint the appearance of the heart that opens and changes little by little through a progressively enriching sound.
SLOWLY participated directly in writing and composing this song, delivering intact in the music her thoughts and feelings that became the starting point of the track. By expressing small moments discovered in daily life through her own perspective, she revealed even more clearly her personality and delicate sensitivity as a singer-songwriter.
SLOWLY was recognized for her remarkable vocals and unique musical color by placing TOP4 in “SING AGAIN 4” on JTBC. Since the show, while constantly communicating with fans through concerts and various contents, she continues energetic activities by presenting music containing her own story.
