The live concert “KBS MUSIC BANK IN BARCELONA” will be broadcast.
Started in 2011, the “KBS MUSIC BANK WORLD TOUR” is a very large-scale K-pop festival that directly meets fans around the world. As it continues to generate lively enthusiasm by connecting K-pop artists and international fans to all four corners of the world, this time, it visited Barcelona, Spain, to accomplish another special stage.
The “MUSIC BANK IN BARCELONA” was held last September 12 at 7:30 p.m. (local time) at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona, Spain. Filling the venue, some 37,000 international fans raised the temperature of the Barcelona night throughout the concert by uttering fervent shouts and singing along in Korean.
K-pop artists such as ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, NMIXX, XIKERS, NCT WISH, CORTIS and ALPHA DRIVE ONE responded present on this stage.
Hosting was entrusted to actor PARK BOGUM. PARK BOGUM, who hosted “MUSIC BANK” from 2015 to 2016, regularly participated as a presenter in the world tour held in various countries around the world, starting with “MUSIC BANK IN SINGAPORE” in 2017, then in Jakarta, Chile, Berlin, Hong Kong, Paris, Mexico, Belgium, Madrid and Lisbon.
It is said that during this Barcelona concert as well, he led the fervor of the show by being in symbiosis with international fans thanks to stable hosting and his characteristic energy.
Today’s concert unfolded under the theme “Overflow of Light – The Colorful World of K-pop”. It contains the meaning according to which K-pop, starting from a small light, shines with different colors and that this light spreads throughout the world to color the world brightly.
Special stages reinterpreting legendary K-pop also sent the fervor on site soaring. ALPHA DRIVE ONE reinterpreted “Armageddon” by AESPA with its own colors, while XIKERS presented “DNA” by BTS.
A special duet stage reuniting host PARK BOGUM and JAY of ENHYPEN was also unveiled. The two men created an unprecedented atmosphere with a sweet harmony and a performance filled with sincerity.
Added to this is ATEEZ, who was in close symbiosis with the audience by delivering not only an intense performance, but also an event directly offering signed balls to fans.
Brightly coloring the Barcelona night in the colors of K-pop, “KBS MUSIC BANK IN BARCELONA” will be broadcast on the channel this coming October 7.
