On October 13, the media outlet Dispatch reported that the police, following an exhaustive investigation into the KakaoTalk screenshots saved by the late KIM SAERON during her lifetime, had identified the sender of the 2016 conversation as being artist “A”.
According to the article, the police confirmed “A”‘s real name from the original and analyzed the tone of the language by comparing it between the conversations saved under “Unknown” and those displaying the real name. Following a thorough examination of the writing style and spelling, it was concluded that the sender was different from KIM SOOHYUN.
Furthermore, the period during which the two people actually exchanged contact information dates back to October 2017, and the number of phone calls between KIM SOOHYUN and KIM SAERON from 2017 to 2018 amounted to 3 times. It was established that the caller was KIM SAERON. Moreover, the photos presented as evidence by “GARO SERO RESEARCH INSTITUTE” were also confirmed to have been taken during the period from 2019 to 2020, during which they admitted to having been in a relationship. It was thus confirmed that these were dates between adults.
Last year, “GARO SERO RESEARCH INSTITUTE” raised suspicions that KIM SOOHYUN had dated KIM SAERON while she was a minor. In response, KIM SOOHYUN‘s camp issued a statement denying the facts during an in-person press conference, before suspending his activities.
